This is Bathurst memorabilia like you haven’t seen it before. Mike Harbar is an Australian illustrator who can detail moments like no other. This piece captures Ford on Mt Panorama in 1978, competing in what was then called the Hardie Ferodo 1000. Driven by Allan Moffat / Jacky Icky and Colin Bond/ Fred Gibson, the Cobra comes to life.
Harbar has captured the intricate detail of the race, from the Ford Falcon XC Cobra to the awe and excitement in the faces of the spectators.
To do this piece justice, I used a white frame and paired it with black and blue layered mat board.
It’s truly a classic, a timeless piece which would look great in any home. This elegant piece of Bathurst memorabilia is a great gift idea!
