Due to the Covid 19 global pandemic, the 2021 AFL Premiership looked very different. For the second time in it’s history the premiership was played outside of Victoria and in this instance, it was played at Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia by two Victorian teams.

Being away from their home ground certainly did not deter the Demons who went on to win the 2021 AFL Premiership and break the premiership drought that the club had experienced since their last win in 1964.
